Fair Haven, NJ Gut Renovation

Part 1: The After We renovated this perfect tiny home, which originally served as captain’s quarters on Sandy Hook, New Jersey. In the 1940s, it was floated by barge to its new home in Fair Haven. It already had all the charm of a coastal cottage—it just needed a little modern love. We preserved so much of what gave the home its character, including the beautiful beadboard trim, rounded archways, and white façade. We modernized the kitchen, added a second bathroom, enlarged the living and dining area to create an open-concept space, and added gorgeous wood beams. And voilà—a renewed coastal cottage, full of history and charm.
